Curtis Knight (May 9, 1929 – November 29, 1999) was born Mont Curtis McNear. He was an American musician closely associated with Jimi Hendrix who performed with him. Knight wrote two books about him; Starchild and Jimi: An Intimate Biography Of Jimi Hendrix. Between 1973 and 1974 he also fronted Curtis Knight Zeus.
Recorded Live At George’s Club 20, Hackensack, New Jersey, December 26, 1965 and January 22, 1966, this is a fascinating musical document giving an insight into Jimi’s early style.
