Europe is a Swedish hair / glam / heavy metal band from Upplands Väsby, Stockholm. It formed in 1979 and rose to international fame in the 1980s with its third album, 1986’s The Final Countdown, which sold over three million copies in the United States. Europe then sold over 23 million albums worldwide. There was a hiatus in 1992, and then they reunited temporarily for a one-off performance in Stockholm on New Year’s Eve 1999 and announced an official reunion in 2003.
First released in 2017, this is its first release on picture disc for Record Store Day 2018.
