Angel Miners & The Lightning Riders Live From 2020

Awolnation is a band formed by Aaron Bruno, from West Hollywood, California. He had been a member of Home Town Hero and Under the Influence of Giants, and needed a break from the collaborative process. In order to find a place for the songs that didn’t fit with his other bands, he built a kind of creative free-for-all for himself with Awolnation. This allowed him to blend genres as he wanted in a style reminiscent of Beck, combining live instrumentation, electronic elements and slick production into an electro-pop hybrid. In 2011, the band made its full-length debut, releasing Megalithic Symphony on Red Bull Records.
2020 and the Covid crisis meant little to no touring to almost every artist but Awolnation decided to play an entire album live anyway and added a powerful edge to their anthemic songs. This Record Store Day release is the only physical product available for this recording – 1000 copies, with only 100 for the UK.
