Wojciech Kilar was a Polish composer, born July, 17th 1932, Lwów, Poland (now Ukraine), died December, 29th 2013, Katowice. He belonged to the Polish avant-garde movement of the Sixties (together with Krzysztof Penderecki and Henryk Górecki) and was well known as a composer of film scores for more than 100 films in Poland, France, Germany, and Hollywood, working with directors such as Roman Polanski, Francis Ford Coppola, and Jane Campion.
The music is performed by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Stepan Konicek and features the soprano Sumi Jo.
This is either the first or second pressing from 2016. Both have the same cat number and barcode. Therefore it may be Flame Red/Yellow vinyl (first, 500 copies) or black vinyl (second, 1000 copies).
Out of print in both formats and very hard to find.
