Pure Comedy

Joshua Tillman – known as Father John Misty – is an American singer/songwriter originally from Rockville, MD. He originally released music under the moniker J. Tillman, then adopted the pseudonym Father John Misty for the 2012 album Fear Fun. He has released three additional albums using this pseudonym, I love you, Honeybear in 2015, Pure Comedy in 2017, and God’s Favorite Customer in 2018. His close collaborator and co-producer for his albums has been Jonathan Wilson.
