Big Jim Sullivan, a.k.a. Lord Sitar, was a famous session guitarist during the 1960s. Here he plays sitar on covers of pop hits of the time in excellent arrangements, with a punchy orchestral backing. This sleeve reproduces the original cover and notes by John Hawkins on the back which end with the words “Only one question remains – WHO IS LORD SITAR?”
First released 1968, this reissue on green vinyl was for Record Store Day 2015.
