Man or Astro-Man? is a space rock / surf rock twangy guitar band from Auburn, Alabama, USA. The group released their first full-length album, Is it…Man or Astro-Man? in 1993, in addition to full-length releases like 1994’s Destroy All Astromen!, 1996’s Experiment Zero and 1997’s Live Transmissions from Uranus. The collection, Beyond the Black Hole, was issued in summer 2001. Their music is mostly instrumental and they sample in dialogue and sound effects from science fiction B-movies.
Standard black vinyl edition with no barcode. Recorded live to acetate at Third Man Records Nashville, TN on 04-16-2016. This great live set is now out of print.
