Buffalo Springfield was an American folk rock band founded in 1966 in Los Angeles and formally disbanded in 1968 after releasing three studio albums. Prominent members included Neil Young, Stephen Stills and Richie Furay. Inducted into Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 (Performer).
The Byrds was an influential American folk, psychedelic, and country rock band founded in Los Angeles in 1964. They recorded 12 studio albums before disbanding in 1973. During this period the band underwent several line-up changes with frontman and guitarist Roger McGuinnn remaining the only constant member. In 1991 The Byrds were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the original five members performing together for the last time after their induction.
