Burning Alms is a duo comprised of guitarist/vocalist John Biggs and drummer Tom Whitfield, both formerly of Calories and Distophia. This, their debut album, was produced by multi-instrumentalist Dom James. The tracks show influences as diverse as Hot Snakes, Glenn Branca, Swans and Sun Kil Moon.
A very rare bird indeed, this interesting essay in electronic rock is well worth exploring.
