Philip Glass is an American composer and musician born 31 January 1937 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Amongst others, he studied music with Darius Milhaud and Nadia Boulanger. In 1966 he worked with Ravi Shankar, which changed his perspective on composition. In the fall of 1968, he founded the Philip Glass Ensemble to perform his music and in 1971 he started Chatham Square Production to release his music.
This is a special offer on two 2LP sets of the Complete Etudes, Volumes 1 & 2, plus additional works for solo piano, performed by Bojan Gorišek. Volume 1 was released 10/11/2017 and Volume 2 in 2018. See second photo for the cover of the second volume. The barcode for it is 8719039002986.
