Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids is the original name of the band that would later earn notoriety as Marilyn Manson. It was founded in 1989, renamed to its shorter moniker in late 1993, shortly before their debut album was released and Twiggy Ramirez replaced previous bassist Gidget Gein.
