Tomorrow was an English psychedelic rock, pop and freakbeat band from London, active 1967 to 1968. It evolved out of Four + One & The In Crowd (2). Tomorrow recorded the first ever John Peel show session on BBC Radio 1 on 21 September 1967, but despite critical acclaim and support from the DJ, who featured them on his Perfumed Garden radio show, the band was not a great success in commercial terms. They were among the first psychedelic bands in England along with Pink Floyd and the Soft Machine.
“Prime UK psychedelia from the underrated Tomorrow, featuring Yes guitarist Steve Howe. Includes songs not recorded for their only studio LP as well as the should-have-been-a-huge hit My White Bicycle and their re-interpretation of Strawberry Fields Forever. The stereo mixes of Revolution and Colonel Brown are included for comparison. Sound quality is excellent (side one) and very good (side two) and the release includes full recording details and extensive sleevenotes”.
